30+ TCM here via qigong and Guasha : Guasha fixes SMAS and Qi removes “toxic “ from SMAS and to be released via Aqupoints (e.g. those at head ) …in summary , Guasha well matches today ‘s Fascia practices ;
I enjoyed your video! One thing I noticed is that with a few small changes in your video description and tags, you could reach an even wider audience. It’s just a small SEO tweak that could make a big difference. I’d be happy to share some tips if you’re interested!
I am 68 and went back on HRT and have a improvement in my muscles
Hi, I think it was me asking you, Rachel, what you mean by suffering :-)
Not only me - I guess :-) What an mazing podcast. I love these episodes where you link mental health and yoga! Good job Diane and Rachel! :-)
Thank you very much, excellent content. I'll check your trainings to check if I can do any of them. Best regards!
great topic! thanks!
Fabulous episode. What I love is there is virtually no waste of my time. Every paragraph holds important information. It's essential listening for me and my patients
Firdose, this is amazing!! Fantastic conversation
Amazing information thank you! Waiting for the book to arrive!
Thank you Diana... Hope you enjoy!
Thanks for sharing. I’ve stopped teaching yin yoga as public classes because each time I see a mix of heavily pregnant and people with serious mental health issues and nobody running a studio sees any problem with it 😢 People here also teach yin without having any training in it, some ppl even without having done a basic 200 hr YTT at all (major European city) 😮
Extremely helpful. Thank you ladies!
❤❤
This is an important conversation that needs to be shared. For me, yin has kindly revealed and released my darker side. It has allowed me to pray in motion and release the weight of my past and allow a new perspective for my future lighter and open.
Thank you 🙏
I have found lomi lomi Hawaiian massage to be incredibly relaxing to my nervous system. Thank you for this podcast,
This is why the bikram yoga series is excellent. A bunch of standing and seated bends and folds. Dandayama dhanurasana is my favorite for this reason.
You should invite John Barnes from Sedona AZ to speak about Myofascial Release…he is considered the godfather of MFR.
So this basically means the yoga with weights class I do weekly in an infrared heated studio has been more beneficial than I initially perceived. With bodyweight training you can even add a load with a weight vest, which will mimic the effect of increasing external load in a gym.
You had me at "Explore and discover your natural gifts” ✨ This episode is packed with value and does a great job of dismantling of common worries and misconceptions that has inspired me with lots of fresh ideas to share value with my own community of YTT students & Yoga Teachers. It was also really refreshing to hear the realness of "eating meat and swearing like a sailor" whilst simultaneously appreciating the commitment of veganism. A beautifully balanced approach which I, personally, don't hear enough. Thank you both 🙏🏽
I need this course. Thank you Dr. Ann and Yoga Medicine for this powerful material. I know it will support me in supporting my clients and students tremendously <3 thanks!
This guy is so ignorant about the cultural roots of Yoga and how all these advanced postures that he claims came from Western gymnastics have actually been taught in Iyengar, Ashtanga and Hatha yoga for years and years. What a way of taking a traditional cultural practice and then trying to make it your own without giving credit where its due. Yoga is way more than stretching and meditation.
Mind blown... I have an unknown connective tissue disorder, at 39 I feel better than I did at 9 because of MFR. You're telling me why.
Many thanks for this! Great bunch of yoga related issues🙏 Subscribed🤩
What about bouncing on a rebounder?
Very interesting and informative podcast. On the topic of cold water yoga stretch that Dr Schleip was thinking of researching, it would be an interesting one. Here in Ireland, Yoga, Sea Swimming and Sauna have become very popular as people feel it's beneficial for their mental health. It has that feel-good factor.
Do you know about the fascia of the body in the case of an inguinal hernia?
"Promo SM" 😢
